The agency
Studiovlach creates bespoke interiors in which every detail exists for a reason.
Through a minimalist, narrative approach, the Paris-based studio designs intuitive interiors where volume and material hold a balanced dialogue, and where emptiness carries its own weight.
From the initial design to turnkey site supervision, each project is conceived as a whole, reorganising space and circulation, and placing the emphasis on bespoke joinery that is both precise and functional.
At the head of the studio, Thomas Vlach is a multidisciplinary designer and a graduate of ENSAAMA Olivier-de-Serres. He trained under British designer Matt Sindall, then worked with several Parisian interior architecture and retail design practices. There he developed commercial architecture concepts for leading luxury houses and took part in the international rollout of Diptyque's boutiques.
Driven by the desire to create spaces that make sense, he founded Studiovlach with the ambition of offering an interior architecture rooted in feeling.
In 2023, together with Shiva Shayan, he co-founded PARSA Édition, a gallery and maison d'édition for contemporary furniture, where he serves as artistic director and designer.
Drawing on the inspiration of antiquity, he has designed a sculptural collection that speaks without artifice, in which material asserts itself, poised between strength of character and delicacy.
With no need to define themselves, the projects of Studiovlach assert themselves in the quiet strength of things made to last.
